Fanny Desvachez
Are you feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or loneliness? Perhaps you’re experiencing grief, or searching for meaning in your life? Whatever challenges and situations you’re facing, together, I offer to embark on a path towards greater serenity.
As a Gestalt therapist trained at the Belgian Institute of Gestalt, I provide you with a welcoming and safe space to navigate through these challenges. Gestalt therapy, developed by Fritz Perls, Laura Perls, and Paul Goodman in the 1950s, is a form of humanistic and experiential psychotherapy. It emphasizes the holistic view of individuals, focusing on the here and now, self-awareness, and personal responsibility. Gestalt therapy regards individuals as whole entities, comprised of mind, body, and soul, and explores how they interact with their environment.
During our sessions, I encourage you to dive deep into your emotions, connect with your sensations, and explore your feelings on a physical, mental, and emotional level. By paying attention to your present experience and exploring how past experiences shape your current reality, you can gain clarity and acceptance.
Gestalt therapy also emphasizes experimentation. If it feels appropriate and comfortable for you, we may use experiential techniques such as role-playing, visualization exercises, or others that invite you to try, experience, and explore new ways of being in my company and with my support.
Whether in my office or online, it’s a journey we’ll embark on together… with warmth and compassion. Feel free to contact me today to schedule your first session and begin this exciting and courageous journey. Together, we can explore the support options that best meet your needs.
